Dynamic Non-minimum Phase Compensation for Siso Nonlinear Systems
نویسنده
چکیده
Nonminimum phase difficulties prevent the use of input-output feedback linearization. To avoid this problem, earlier work proposed the use of synthetic outputs with the view of placing zeros in prescribed locations under a condition of static equivalence. The objective here is also to introduce a synthetic output. However this is defined through the use of dynamic perturbations aimed at yielding maximum relative degree. Resetting of the initial conditions of the additional dynamics allows design freedom for closing the gap between the behaviour of the synthetic and actual output. The efficacy of the strategy in meeting pole placement is demonstrated by a simple numerical example. Copyright © 2005 IFAC

Potentials of Evolving Linear Models in Tracking Control Design for Nonlinear Variable Structure Systems
Evolving models have found applications in many real world systems. In this paper, potentials of the Evolving Linear Models (ELMs) in tracking control design for nonlinear variable structure systems are introduced. At first, an ELM is introduced as a dynamic single input, single output (SISO) linear model whose parameters as well as dynamic orders of input and output signals can change through ...
متن کاملA New Method for Time-Delay Compensation in Control Systems
In this paper a new method is introduced and investigated for removing the destabilizing effects of time-delay parameter in control loops. The concept of the method is taken from the knowledge concerning the dynamic behaviour of irrational transfer functions (Ir-TF), which is discussed and investigated elswhere in frequency response domain and is explained briefly here. Ir-TFs, which are we...
متن کاملA New Near Optimal High Gain Controller For The Non-Minimum Phase Affine Nonlinear Systems
In this paper, a new analytical method to find a near-optimal high gain controller for the non-minimum phase affine nonlinear systems is introduced. This controller is derived based on the closed form solution of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation associated with the cheap control problem. This methodology employs an algebraic equation with parametric coefficients for the systems with s...
متن کاملFriction Compensation for Dynamic and Static Models Using Nonlinear Adaptive Optimal Technique
Friction is a nonlinear phenomenon which has destructive effects on performance of control systems. To obviate these effects, friction compensation is an effectual solution. In this paper, an adaptive technique is proposed in order to eliminate limit cycles as one of the undesired behaviors due to presence of friction in control systems which happen frequently. The proposed approach works for n...
متن کاملUniversal SISO sliding-mode controllers with finite-time convergence
An universal controller is constructed, formulated in input-output terms only, which causes the output of any uncertain smooth SISO minimum-phase dynamic system with known relative degree to vanish in finite time. That allows exact tracking of arbitrary real-time smooth signals. Only one parameter is to be adjusted. The approach being based on higher-order finite-time-convergence sliding modes,...
